Common signs of AI writing
Look for broad openings, repeated transition words, identical sentence lengths, overuse of “important to note,” vague praise, unnecessary summaries, and lists that never make a decision. Other signs include generic examples, excessive hedging, and a voice that never changes.
How to fix the pattern
Replace the opening with the point. Name the person, place, constraint, or result. Combine short sentences when the idea is simple and split long sentences when the idea changes. Remove a transition whenever the relationship is already obvious.
A fifteen-point revision pass
Start with your own point of view. AI can organize a draft, but a useful article needs specific experience, examples, and decisions that belong to the writer.
Read the result aloud and revise anything that sounds too polished, vague, or repetitive. Human writing has uneven rhythm because real people prioritize meaning over perfect symmetry.
Use a humanizer as an editing aid, not as a promise about detection. Review accuracy, disclose AI assistance when required, and make sure the final work is genuinely yours.
Make the final draft yours
The strongest fix is not a synonym. It is a specific choice. Add what you observed, what you recommend, what surprised you, or what the reader should do next.
